Home Selling Has Gone Mobile

Prudential Professionals Realty has teamed up with a great mobile tech company to provide potential home buyers with instant real estate information using text messaging. How?

If you live in the Clarksville area, you’ve surely noticed the little red signs that are popping up everywhere next to our normal listing signs. The new signs say “Text PPR to 59559? – and it really is that easy! When you see a sign simply text PPR (in the subject or body of the message) to the number 59559 and this new system will use our phone’s GPS to find out where you are and which house you are looking at. The best part? It will ask you if you want to view surrounding listings, and again using GPS, it will pull up all of the listed homes within a few miles around you. Imagine saying to yourself, “I’m not a big fan of this house, but I really like this neighborhood. I wonder what other houses are for sale in this area?” and being able to find out instantly – without having to drive around and hunt! If your phone is not GPS enabled the service will still work for you. As long as you have text messaging you will still text PPR to 59559, but instead of providing you with the listing information immediately, it will simply let you know that your phone’s GPS is not enabled and ask you to text back the address of the property you are looking at.
