Bobby Powers

Busy is what you think of when you see and talk with Bobby Powers. As owner of Prudential Professionals Realty, his days are full of phone calls, interviews and meetings. So when he can catch a few extras moments you might find him listening to the creek babble or reading a book about history on the front porch of his family’s log cabin. Built in 1795 by Bobby’s great, great grandfather, it shows that the love of the land goes back centuries in the family tree. Bobby is an amateur genealogist, getting great pleasure in tracking the roots of his ancestors. His travels have led him to hills of Carolina where he has researched the beginnings of the Jackson and Powers clans taking them all the way back to Ireland. The family patriarchs also impacted America’s history with many of them being instrumental in the founding of the south and influential in the Civil War.

Land is part of Bobby’s existence and that is witnessed in his desire to continue to live on a farm in western Montgomery County. Previously a crop cultivator, he now only raises cattle because the real estate business is so demanding of his time. Bobby and his wife Susan are both Clarksville natives and raised there four children here. The giving spirit of the parents is witnessed in the lives of their children where the whole family is committed to philanthropy work and caring for the underprivileged in the community. They all will literally give you the shirt off their backs.

Bobby started the company in 1995 after being a successful real estate salesman for 10 years. He is a true leader and his skills have lead the company to be one of the top real estate firms in the country. In 2006 he received the highest honor bestowed on any broker by Prudential Residential Real Estate by being named Broker of the Year. Bobby says anybody can sell real estate but Prudential Professionals Realty Cares about the people of Clarksville and the surrounding community.
